Lillibrooke Manor is one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Berkshire. With its sprawling 15 acres, nestled in the stunning English countryside, their exclusive hire 15th Century Berkshire wedding venue provides an exquisite landscape for your event all year round.

It was important the website conveys just how special this venue is and all the offerings that come with it.
With this, we also rewrote all metadata on the website and implemented page optimisation.
The Challenge
Being entrusted to bring such a historical venue’s web presence into the 21st century was a great responsibility. We needed to create a classy representation of this stunning venue online. Through strong imagery, video and content, we needed to convey how very special this venue is.
The Solution
It was important with this project to understand the users’ journey. There are two clear audiences for this website, people looking for a wedding venue and a corporate audience looking for a unique conference venue. It is, therefore, necessary to make these two options visible on the homepage. Through an innovative scrolling process, we made impactful images that revealed an overlay of text when scrolling down.

The Outcome
On the homepage, we introduced a clever overlay that allowed us to feature a clear picture of this stunning venue with a reveal of the venue’s key message and call to action. The first section on the website covers Lilliebrooke’s primary function as a wedding venue. Again with a reveal of content, this also has a call to action bar at the bottom of this segment. The following section introduces the corporate offering. Ideal for conferencing, parties and filming, the overlay again offers a direct call to action to take enquiries or learn more. We rewrote all metadata on the website and implemented page optimisation before the new website went live. Six months after launch, the site now benefits from the highest first-page rankings, including keywords such as ‘wedding venues maidenhead’, ‘where to have prom’ and ‘barns for hire in berkshire’. Over the first six months, we have made outstanding improvements in site engagement. Page views are over 120%, with a 60% increase in session duration. There is also a 36% improvement in bounce rate from 59.71% to 38.10%. Tablet views have the best interaction, with an improved bounce rate of just 29%. All this has led to a significant improvement in site enquiries.
